Example of integrating search in existing web site

Hi,

I'm fairly new to regain and have built and index and deployed the regain.war without any issues. Works great. I would like to integrate it into an existing webapp, but haven't found any examples of how to do that.

I was hoping to just build a *.jar, drop it in along with a descriptor and use the tags in my own webapp. Is that possible, and is there an example that anyone knows of?
